Defamation move over ‘porotta-beef’ claim

A complaint was filed at the Koyilandy police station by social activist Bindu Ammini against N.K.P-remachandran, Member of Parliament for Kollam, alleging that his remarks linking her and Rehana Fathima to being served porotta and beef before entering Sabarimala are false and defamatory.
Bindu Ammini asserted that the statement undermines her reputation, accused the MP of deliberate intent, and urged police to initiate formal proceedings.In his public statement,
