Keshavnagar residents protest civic neglect

Locals in Keshavnagar and Mundhwa say stalled projects, broken roads and unchecked encroachments persist even as neighbouring areas boom
Even as neighbouring localities such as Kharadi and Amanora witness rapid development and upscale growth, residents of Keshavnagar and Mundhwa say they continue to struggle with long-pending civic issues and sustained administrative neglect.
Residents alleged that basic infrastructure remains in a dismal state. Roads are either broken or nonexistent, encroachments have increased unchecked, and traffic management is largely absent due to a lack of traffic police deployment. The nonoperational river bridge and the incomplete railway underpass have compounded daily hardships, forcing commuters to take longer routes and face heavy congestion.
Locals told The Free Press Journal (FPJ) that despite repeated appeals, authorities have failed to take concrete steps, leaving the common man to bear the brunt of stalled projects and poor connectivity. Frustration has mounted as they watch adjacent areas flourish while their own neighbourhood remains stuck in infrastructural limbo.
