YSRCP leaders accuse CM of ‘historic betrayal’ of Andhra Pradesh

Former Deputy Chief Minister P. Rajanna Dora and former Minister Dr. Seediri Appalaraju launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, alleging that he has once again exposed himself as a “betrayer of Andhra Pradesh’ through his latest remarks on the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP).

The leaders criticised Chandrababu's recent comments, saying they reveal his “true intention” to push for the privatisation of the iconic steel plant, despite his pre-election promises to safeguard it. They said his statements such as “Should we pay salaries if you don’t work? How long will governments fund you?” were not only insensitive but also deeply insulting to thousands of VSP employees who have been fighting for its protection.
