Russia has unleashed one of its largest aerial assaults on Kyiv in over three years of war, while simultaneously striking a maternity ward in the southern city of Odesa. The intensified bombardments, which officials reported on Tuesday, have resulted in at least three fatalities and widespread damage, marking a severe escalation in hostilities. Moscow claims these attacks are retaliation for recent strikes by Ukrainian forces inside Russia.
