Contrary to the expectations of principal opposition Congress trying hard to retain power as well as the exit polls, the saffron Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) has succeeded in winning the polls for the third consecutive time leaving everyone stunned.
Besides, the assembly poll results added to the woes of the many heavyweights as they failed to survive the polls facing a debacle. The situation is that while the exit poll results proved to be completely wrong, senior leaders of different parties who were expecting to win by a huge margin contrary to expectations had to face defeat.
