PM MODI WRITES TO JAPAN PM FUMIO KISHIDA, CONDOLES LOSS OF LIVES IN EARTHQUAKE

In the wake of the major earthquake in Japan on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote to Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on Thursday and expressed his condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased.

As per sources, PM Modi told the Japanese PM that he is deeply anguished and concerned to learn about the major earthquake that struck Japan on January 1, 2024.
PM Modi added, "I express my deepest condolence to the bereaved families of those who lost their lives We stand in solidarity with Japan and its people affected by the disaster." PM Modi also said "As a special strategic and global partner, India values its relationship with Japan, and is ready to extend all possible assistance at this hour."
