'No evidence at all': Arvind Kejriwal hails court order
February 28, 2026
|The Daily Guardian
NEW DELHI: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Friday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah of "hatching" the alleged liquor scam conspiracy against him and his party, claiming they were unable to defeat the AAP in the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections.
-
Addressing a press conference after a Rouse Avenue Court discharged him and others in the Delhi Excise Policy case, the former Delhi Chief Minister said the verdict vindicated his party's integrity.
"I want to thank the judge.
The court has shown great courage at a time when institutions are under pressure. In its 600-page order, the court has clearly stated that there is not even the slightest evidence to make out a case," Kejriwal said.
He alleged that the case was politically motivated.
