NIA team arrives at Ganderbal after deadly terror attack

Protests were held condemning the terror attack and demanding swift action against those responsible

A four-member team from the National Investigation Agency (NIA), led by a senior officer, arrived at the site of a terror attack in Ganderbal district, Jammu and Kashmir, where a doctor and six construction workers were killed on Sunday evening.

The NIA's Jammu branch, headed by a Superintendent of Police (SP), will assist local law enforcement in the investigation into the attack. Sources indicate that the NIA is likely to take over the probe entirely as they gather evidence and assess the situation.
