MOOSEWALA'S FATHER VOICES DISMAY AFTER VIRTUAL COURT HEARING

Balkaur Sidhu, the father of the murdered Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, expressed dismay over the virtual appearance of the accused involved in his son's murder case. He voiced that commitments were made to ensure that the indicted individuals would be physically present in court.

He expressed, "We had been assured that the accused would appear in person. However, they were not adequately presented on the Video Conference. Today, out of the 25 accused, only 22 were produced. Lawrence Bishnoi remained silent due to observing a 'Maun Vrat' (vow of silence) today. We feel quite helpless in this situation." The delay in producing the accused in court has subsequently held up the process of transferring the chargesheet to the district & sessions court, where the trial concerning the murder is in progress.
