Mithun Manhas files nomination for BCCI President, Shukla files for VP

Former Delhi captain Mithun Manhas on Sunday filed his nomination for the post of BCCI president, becoming the sole candidate forthe top role vacated by Roger Binny in August. Confirming the development, BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia said, “Mithun Manhas filed his nomination in front of me.”
BCCI Vice-President Rajeev Shuklaalso confirmed filing his nomination, stating that a panel has been finalized. “A panel is ready, with Mithun Manhas for the post of president, me for vice president, Devajit Saikia for secretary, Prabhtej Singh Bhatia for joint secretary, and Raghuram Bhat for treasurer. A new body is being formed for the next tenure,” Shukla told reporters in Mumbai.
