In the wake of political turmoil resulting from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leaders joining the Maharashtra government, the state's political landscape has undergone major shifts, marked by allegations, refutations, and intense discussions.

Recently, Maharashtra Legislative Council Deputy Chairperson and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Neelam Gorhe joined the Eknath Shindeled Shiv Sena faction. The move, which occurred in the presence of CM Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, signifies the ongoing power shift within the party.
As the political chessboard unfolds, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has asserted that around 17-18 MLAs from Shinde's Shiv Sena have been in contact with his faction since the inclusion of NCP leader Ajit Pawar in the state government. His colleague and Lok Sabha MP Vinayak Raut also added that some MLAs have shown willingness to align with them.
