LUCIDITY IS THE HALLMARK OF SHIVANGINI'S POETRY

While reading the latest anthology of poems "The Miraculous Escape" by Indian poet Shivangini Jindal, William Wordsworth sounds absolutely correct when he writes in the 'Preface to Lyrical Ballads' that poetry is a spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings, recollected in peace and tranquility. These observations are aptly justified as we come across the element of splendiferous spontaneity and sublimity which define this heart-touching and deeply emotive collection of poetic pieces.

The book most elegantly illustrates the real capacity and innate abilities that a poet holds to highlight not only the essence but also the intensity and magnitude of human emotions that she personally underwent. Therefore, the book abounds in evocative autobiographical elements.
