The more we dwell on blaming others, we see ourselves stuck in the same old patterns, replaying the same emotional scripts, never really moving forward. The deeper belief system that lies here is the victim mindset.

The Victim Mindset - Life Is Happening To Me When one believes that life is being done to them instead of through them, they rest the case. We often feel at the mercy of others' actions or external conditions. It's a mindset that thrives on helplessness. With time, this helplessness becomes a chronic fault. "If I were treated a little better in the past," becomes the slogan. Endlessly clinging to the past doesn't change the reality but only deepens the wounds.
