Chief Minister Saini Issues Strict Directions To All Deputy Commissions To Ensure Untreated Effluent Is Not Discharged Into The River.
Taking a strict note of pollution in river Yamuna, Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini has issued strict directions to all the deputy commissions to ensure that untreated effluent is not discharged in the river.
In this regard, the chief minister held a meeting with deputy commissioners and directed them to ensure desilting of drains and canals in their areas and take concrete steps so that there is no waterlogging anywhere in the state during the monsoon season.
