Fake IED planted over personal grudge

Police on Sunday said they have arrested three people for allegedly conspiring to plant a fake Improvised Explosive Device (IED) at the residence of a man in North Kashmir's Baramulla district in an attempt to falsely implicate him.
According to police, Tangmarg Police received specific input on July 31 about the presence of an IED at the house of Manzoor Ahmed Khan, son of Mohammad Ayoub Khan, a resident of Mahayan Ferozpora. A cordon and search operation was launched and a suspicious package was found near the main gate of Khan's residence.
