Delhi LG approves prosecution of 10 cops in fraud case

Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena has granted sanction to prosecute 10 Delhi Police personnel in a case of embezzlement of Rs 2.44 crore government funds, a Raj Niwas statement said on Sunday.

An FIR was registered by the economic offences wing (EOW) of Delhi Police against two women subinspectors, three head constables, and five constables – posted in Outer District – on charges of cheating, criminal conspiracy, and criminal breach of trust on October 1, 2019.
