Decision on existing National Museum building yet to be taken: Govt

The proposed new Yuge Yugeen Bharat Museum is expected to feature artefacts not only from the National Museum but also from other museums across India, the government informed Parliament on Thursday.

In a written response to a query about the fate of the current National Museum building on Janpath, Union Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat stated that a decision on this building is "yet to be taken."
