Congress workers clash in Patna over ticket distribution

Chaos erupted within the Congress party over alleged irregularities in ticket distribution.

At Patna airport, party workers protesting against the state president and senior leaders created a major commotion, which soon turned violent as punches and kicks were exchanged. Similar scenes of unrest were reported at the Sadaqat Ashram, the party's state headquarters.
It is said that the workers were angry over the ticket allotment in Vikram constituency and accused the state Congress president of selling tickets. They also raised slogans against him.
