Situated around 25 kilometers from the district headquarters, the village is nestled amidst the Aravalli hills, offering a scenic yet spiritually uplifting environment for residents and visitors alike.

Origins and Name
The name "Chauth Ka Barwara" originates from the revered Chauth Mata, the presiding deity of the village. Legend has it that the temple dedicated to Chauth Mata was established more than 565 years ago by Maharaja Bhim Singh of Marwar. According to folklore, the idol of the goddess was brought from Pachala, and a grand temple was constructed on a hilltop overlooking the village. Chauth Mata Temple
The Chauth Mata Temple is the most prominent religious site in the village. Perched atop a steep hill, the temple is accessible by climbing over 700 steps, making the journey both physically demanding and spiritually rewarding. The structure is built in traditional Rajputana style, featuring intricately carved pillars, domes, and a sanctum that houses the idol of Chauth Mata. Pilgrims from across Rajasthan and neighboring states visit the temple, especially during major Hindu festivals such as Karva Chauth and Navratri.
