BJP shifts Bihar battle to ‘corruption’ pitch against Tejashwi

October 27, 2025

|

The Daily Guardian

Tejashwi Yadav owned dozens of properties by his late twenties and faces CBI charges including criminal conspiracy and cheating, alongside allegations under the Prevention of Corruption Act and the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.

They further point to ED action and valuations of family wealth, and intend to revive questions over an undeclared stint as a handling agent for a private steel major.

The RJD has dismissed the accusations as politically motivated and repeatedly stressed that the cases are being dredged up to distract from livelihood issues.
