As the political battle for Haryana intensifies, the ruling BJP was making all efforts to woo the crucial Dalit vote bank. With a focus on Dalits, the ruling party organised a high-profile Dalit Sammelan at the Sant Ravidas Memorial in Umri, of Kurukshetra.
At this event, the BJP showcased its commitment to the Dalit community, while launching sharp attacks on the Congress party's track record on social justice.
The event saw the participation of key BJP figures, including Union ministers Manohar Lal, Union law minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, and senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Dushyant Gautam, alongside a gathering of Dalit leaders from across the state.
Manohar Lal accused the Congress of perpetuating discrimination in society.
