Andhra poised to lead India’s renewable revolution: CM Naidu

ReNew Energy Global Ple, a leading global decarbonisation solutions company, has announced a massive investment of Rs 82,000 crore (US$ 9.3 billion) in Andhra Pradesh's renewable energy sector.
The company signed four major Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board in the presence of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Minister for IT and Industries Nara Lokesh.
The new commitments worth Rs 60,000 crore (US$ 6.7 billion) will add to ReNew’s earlier investment of Rs 22,000 crore (US$ 2.5 billion) announced in May 2025. Together, these projects mark one of the largest private clean energy investments in the state's history.
