Accessing the power of Shakti on Diwali
October 31, 2024
|The Daily Guardian
Diwali is not only a festival of lights but also a time for connecting with the divine energies, or shaktis, that govern creation.
According to Ashwini Guruji of Dhyan Ashram, the universe operates under these distinct shaktis, each influencing our world on specific days of the year.
Yogic practice, or sadhna, is essential to harmonize with these energies, which ultimately enhances the spiritual journey. Missing even one day of sadhna can disrupt this connection, impacting not only the individual but also their environment. Guruji emphasizes that true yogic sadhna doesn't involve rituals but rather a disciplined engagement with these shaktis through direct experience.
In yog and tantra, Guruji explains, each shakti has a form and influence.
As practitioners deepen their sadhna, they start experiencing these forms.
The Sun and the Moon, two significant shaktis, explains that connecting with the Moon's shakti in dhyan brings forth insights, as it reveals the deep connection between one's mental state and cosmic forces.
Through the Moon, sadhaks can also access mantras and other energies that the Sun, in its overwhelming brilliance, might obscure.
