'1,000 schools will take pledge to clean Bengaluru on October 2': Shivakumar

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar on Monday announced that one thousand schools in Bengaluru will take a pledge to “clean Bengaluru” on October 2, marking the 100th year since Mahatma Gandhi’s Congress presidentship.

This initiative is taken by the government to spread awareness among the kids about the necessity of cleanliness. “As 100 years are completing of the AICC Presidentship of Mahatma Gandhi, 1 thousand schools and colleges will be given a pledge to “clean Bengaluru” to make kids aware about cleanliness on October 2,” D K Shivakumar said in a press conference.
