Questions as family fight to come to grips with dad's death

A five-year-old girl celebrated her birthday for the first time without her dad, whose presence was reduced to a picture frame after he died just four days earlier under the care of the RK Khan Hospital.

Widowed mother of two, Daphne Johnson has been left with more questions than answers as to how her husband, Vinesh Johnson, 38, died at the RK Khan Hospital within a day after being taken there for routine tests.

"He had difficulty breathing and flu-like symptoms. Vinesh was asthmatic, but he was the healthiest person I knew and he never fell sick, so we went to our family doctor, who stated that his oxygen levels were far too low and he needed to be checked into a hospital.
