Is winter finally over?

As the last week of August comes to a close, South Africans are wondering whether winter is finally behind them.
According to the South African Weather Service, the season officially ends on 31 August, with spring beginning on 1 September and lasting until 30 November.
Forecaster Tokelo Chiloane said spring is typically marked by dry and windy weather.
