A WOMAN has appeared in court accused of trying to smuggle cannabis into a North East prison.

Tracey Connolly allegedly took 44g of the class B drug into HMP Northumberland on New Year's Eve last year. The 44-year-old was also suspected of being found with etizolam tablets, which is a class C drug. Etizolam can be prescrib
