Thug shoved his partner down stairs into her son

A DOMESTIC-VIOLENCE thug forcefully pushed his partner down a flight of stairs as she tried to protect her son when he arrived home to find his mum being attacked.

Kyle Frost had "suddenly flipped" as the woman consoled him when he was crying and ended up strangling and punching her.

When her teenage son came in with his friend, he told Frost to stop attacking her, prompting him to move towards the then 17-year-old.

The woman bravely put herself between the pair, at which point Frost forcefully pushed her down a full flight of stairs, sending her crashing into her son.

Now the 33-year-old, of Anne Street, Shiremoor, North Tyneside, has been locked up at Newcastle Crown Court.

The court heard Frost had been in a short relationship with the victim and in March last year she was at home with him and they were both drinking vodka.
