Sponsors show training deal interest

United have major interest when it comes to potential sponsors for their new training ground - including current kit sponsors Sela.Training ground naming rights are high on the list of the Newcastle board's to do list and former commercial chief Peter Silverstone held talks with a host of possible options for the current Benton base before leaving for Juventus. Those talks included Sela who were keen on sponsoring the current facility, but a deal could not be agreed in 2023.

Silverstone was criticised for not landing a sponsor for the training ground in North Tyneside but it's understood he turned down a couple of options because he did not feel they were value for money.
