Praise for ASDA worker's kindness

A KINDHEARTED supermarket worker has been praised after paying for an elderly woman's shopping. Kim Cunningham, who works at ASDA Boldon, stepped in to help an upset customer who couldn't remember the pin number for her bank card.

Checkout colleague Kim, 60, tried to calm the lady down and told her to take a minute in case the code came back to her. When she still couldn’t remember it, and began to cry as she had no one to call or help, Kim paid for the shopping herself.

Details about the incident were shared on ASDA’s Facebook page at the weekend and immediately went viral with over 73,000 reactions to the post, including 24,000 ‘loves. The comments were all commending Kim for her kindness.
