Man farmed cannabis in industrial unit

A CANNABIS farmer caught looking after 1,000 plants at a Tyneside industrial unit has been jailed.

Sergio Tzaro had come to the UK from Greece to work to pay off a debt but was unhappy with the amount of money he was making in construction and turned to crime.
Newcastle Crown Court heard it was on May 14 this year that police executed a search warrant at an industrial unit in North Shields. Inside, they found a huge cannabis farm and that the electricity supply had been bypassed.
