QUARTET IN ONE OF TWO VANS THAT RAIDED WAREHOUSE

- By DAVID HUNTLEY

A BURGLARY gang raided a Washington warehouse and made off with almost £46,000 worth of vapes.

The four men - who live in the North West - broke into a warehouse earlier this year and stole thousands of pounds worth of goods before police tracked them down in North Yorkshire.

Two vans, one blue and one white, were involved in the burglary, but only one was tracked down by police.

Only the defendants, who were in the white van, were captured.

On Friday, Dishad Ahmade Kalke, 34, Mohammed Namq, 26, Carlo Ramhane, 23, and Rebvar Saghezi, 29, appeared at Newcastle Crown Court to be sentenced for burglary.

All of the defendants had pleaded guilty and required an Iranian interpreter throughout the hearing.

The court heard that the men broke into the ITZ Prints warehouse ~ also known as Washington Vapes - on Eddison Road in Washington in the early hours of February 24 this year.

The warehouse was stocked full of vapes and related products ready for sale and distribution.
