Town slipped from the top of the Premier Division table after they battled to a goalless draw at Leek Town.The Hornets drew for the fourth consecutive game, allowing Hednesford Town to take over at the top.
However, Hornets boss Daniel Moore refused to criticise his players and said: “It wasn't a bad nil-nil for the neutral and the overall feeling amongst ourselves was about our quality. I can’t fault the effort, desire, everything but our quality on the ball wasn't good enough.
“It happens - in the last couple of weeks we have struggled in the final third. We have played some all right stuff, not had a lot of sustained pressure but neither have they really. It’s frustrating.”
Morpeth Town's relegation concerns increased as they suffered a narrow defeat at fellow strugglers Workington.

The producers of Handcuffed: Last Pair Standing must have been rubbing their hands with glee when they saw the rough cut of this first episode: a glimpse of the countryside, a nice burst of birdsong, sounds of a man and a woman laughing and then... two people naked in a shower. Goodness me, and it's only just past the watershed too.
