Cancer battler Kian and family's 'lovely day' at races

CANCER survivor Kian Musgrove and his family were delighted to be offered a special treat by the charitable Box4Kids scheme at the end of March.

Kian, 12, was invited to an executive box at Newcastle Racecourse in Gosforth Park, having been nominated by a friend the family met while in New York for the cancer treatment that saved his life.
Kian was diagnosed with neuroblastoma twice before his fourth birthday.
Kian’s mum Kat told The Chronicle the family had had a lovely day. She said: “It was a nice day. Kian had a lovely time.
