Adingra: Fervent Cats fans are different class

The Ivorian winger was one of a large number of additions the Black Cats made this summer to prepare themselves for the Premier League following their promotion from the Championship last term.

Adingra has played a prominent role in a start to the season that has seen the club win two of their opening three games against West Ham United and Brentford, having joined the club from fellow Premier League outfit Brighton and Hove Albion.

The 23-year-old has had a varied journey to this point, with spells in Norway and Belgium before his move to England, which initially came with the Seagulls.

However, in his short time thus far on Wearside, the passion of his new club's fanbase has come through, and their expectations for the team are clear, which is appreciated from a player's perspective.
