‘Yes’ to outdoor swimming pool plan

PLANS were put forward for an outdoor swimming pool in countryside near Malpas.
The full application was submitted at Highfield, 26 Stretton Green, Stretton by Neil Stevens.
Planning officers at Cheshire West and Chester Council were told by Mr Stevens the construction of an outdoor swimming pool to the rear garden was proposed. The replacement of an existing timber pergola to cover an outdoor kitchen was included with a chimney.
A neighbouring occupier asked for outstanding matters to be clarified before a decision was made.
Farndon ward councillor Adrian Waddilove had no observations.
The site consisted of a detached dwelling according to a report. It was within a conservation area and the countryside.
