Victim praised after rapist jailed for 12 years

A RAPIST from Chester has been jailed for more than ten years.
Aaron Furnival, of Hunter Street, was found guilty of four counts of rape following a trial at Chester Crown Court in March.
The 31-year-old had previously pleaded guilty to one count of controlling and coercive behaviour.
Furnival returned to Chester Crown Court last week where he was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
During his trial, the court was told how the female victim in this case contacted police to report violent behaviour, emotional abuse and sexual abuse committed by Furnival.
