Green light for bid to transform clinic into house

A former chiropody clinic in Northwich is set to be turned into a house after plans were given the green light.

Cheshire West and Chester planning officers have rubber-stamped an application for the change of use of the Achilles Centre, pictured, on London Road.
It was built in 1902 as a residential property, and a planning application said the front room been used as a podiatry clinic with consulting and treatment rooms since 1997, with planning permission being granted in 2010 to use the whole building for chiropody purposes.
