|The Business Guardian
The court in the case noted that the High Court and Tribunal erred in signifying request-based transfer as a public interest transfer.
The Supreme Court in the case The Secretary To Government Department Of Health And Family Welfare And Anr. Versus K.C. Devaki observed and has reaffirmed that the transfer of a government employee upon the request of them cannot be classified as a transfer in public interest.
