South Korea provides $1 Million aid to Afghanistan

In a critical response to Afghanistan’s ongoing humanitarian crisis, South Korea has stepped forward with a generous donation of one million dollars through the United Nations’ Humanitarian Coordination Office.

This significant contribution aims to provide essential support to the people of Afghanistan who are facing dire challenges and an array of crises.
The United Nations Humanitarian Coordination Office (OCHA) made the announcement on social media, underlining South Korea’s commitment to humanitarian efforts. The allocated funds will be directed towards “life-saving activities” in Afghanistan, emphasizing the urgency of the situation, as reported by Khaama Press.
This recent contribution builds on South Korea’s longstanding commitment to aiding Afghanistan in times of need. Since 2014, South Korea has donated over 18 million dollars to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund, managed by OCHA. This continued support reflects South Korea’s dedication to alleviating the suffering of Afghan people during these challenging times.
