PM Modi to launch rural skill centers in Maharashtra

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate 511 rural skill development centers in Maharashtra, dedicated to the memory of the late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan.

This initiative aims to provide skill development training programs across a range of sectors, offering employment opportunities to the rural youth. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) announced that these centers will be established across 34 rural districts in Maharashtra.
Each of these skill development centers is designed to train approximately 100 young individuals in a minimum of two vocational courses. The training will be facilitated by industry partners and agencies approved by the National Skill Development Council, ensuring that the training aligns with industry requirements and standards.
