Thousands of patients reach Chandigarh PGI every day for treatment, which includes patients from many states including Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
Most of these patients are less educated, due to which they face a lot of difficulties in understanding the hospital procedures.
Keeping this in mind, the PGI administration is now working towards solving the problems of patients by adopting the official language Hindi.
