Minister Piyush Goyal engages in talks to boost bilateral trade with UK, Germany, and Italy

Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal recently held a series of significant meetings aimed at enhancing bilateral trade and economic cooperation with key European countries.

On the sidelines of the G7 Trade Ministers’ Meeting in Italy, Minister Goyal met with Italian Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani. Their discussions focused on boosting bilateral cooperation in investments, start-ups, and energy sectors between India and Italy. Minister Goyal also congratulated Deputy PM Tajani for successfully hosting the G7 Trade Ministers’ Meeting.
Minister Goyal is currently on an official visit to participate in the outreach session of the G7 Trade Ministers’ Meeting, scheduled for July 16-17 in Italy. This visit aligns with the Indian government’s broader objective of promoting India’s trade and investment potential to the global community.
