Iranian and Indian Designers Triumph in Jaipur Rugs Flagship Store Design Competition

Jaipur Rugs, known for its exquisite handmade rugs, partnered with Archdais, a leading platform for architectural and interior design competitions, to proudly announce the winners of its inaugural design and build competition for the Jaipur Rugs Flagship Store.

The competition received an overwhelming response from 1500 participants worldwide, representing countries such as India, Iran, UAE, Peru, United States, Malaysia, Italy, Indonesia, Russia, Canada, and the UK. After a rigorous selection process, 18 outstanding teams were shortlisted to compete. The culmination of the competition was a thrilling 2-day event where finalists presented their innovative designs to a distinguished jury. The jury included Rutvi Chaudhary, Director of Jaipur Rugs; Mrudul Pathak Kundu, Editor of Elle Decor; and Greg Foster, Artistic Director of Jaipur Rugs. Each participant was allocated a precise 10-minute time slot to present their detailed plan for the upcoming flagship store.
