The Maharashtra Congress has voiced its dissatisfaction with the interim budget presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, asserting that it overlooks vital issues such as inflation, unemployment, farmer suicides, and the country’s substantial debt.

Congress spokesperson Gopaldada Tiwari, in his analysis of the Union budget on Friday, criticized the government’s failure to address the soaring inflation and its lack of focus on creating a conducive environment for industrial growth, investments, and employment. Tiwari labeled the interim budget as the ‘final budget’ of the BJP government, accusing the finance minister of engaging in idle talk.
