IAF's Sarang heads to Bahrain air show

The Sarang Helicopter Display Team of the Indian Air Force (IAF) has departed from Sulur Airbase, embarking on a journey to participate in the Bahrain International Air Show 2024 at Sakhir Airbase, set to commence on November 13.

This highly anticipated event will feature a range of aerial performances from various international teams, and the Sarang team aims to leave a lasting impression with its stunning displays.

The Sarang team took flight aboard a C-17 Globemaster III, a mighty aircraft known for its cargo-carrying capacity. Along with their vibrant peacock-colored helicopters, the team transported essential gear necessary for their performances. In a celebratory post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the Indian Air Force shared updates about the team's departure, stating, "Taking flight to Bahrain. The Sarang Helicopter Display Team lifted off from Sulur Airbase, packed into a mighty C-17 along with their vibrant peacock-coloured helicopters and essential gear."

The post emphasized the swift night-loading operation that ensured the team's timely arrival in Bahrain, building excitement for the upcoming performances.
