Godrej industries chemicals business acquires Shree Vallabh unit for Rs 45 cr

Godrej Industries Ltd announced on Monday that its chemicals business unit will acquire Shree Vallabh Chemicals’ Ethoxylation unit II located in Kheda, Gujarat, for an estimated Rs 45 crore.

This strategic acquisition is set to enhance Godrej Industries’ product range by incorporating advanced Ethoxylation technology into its existing portfolio.
The agreement, formalized through a business transfer agreement, signifies Godrej Industries’ commitment to expanding its chemicals business. The acquisition aims to integrate the Ethoxylation unit, which boasts a manufacturing capacity of 24,000 MTPA (Million Tonnes Per Annum) of finished products, into Godrej’s operations. This addition is expected to provide a significant boost to the company’s production capabilities and market offerings.
