Festive car discounts soar, retail real estate leasing up 46%
October 20, 2023
|The Business Guardian
As the festive season gains momentum in India, car dealerships across the country are offering substantial discounts on various car models, ranging from Rs 25,000 to over Rs 1 lakh.
-
This year’s festival discounts are notably higher than those offered during the 2022 festive season, which was marred by supply chain disruptions related to electronic components for cars. The increase in discounts for 2023 ranges from 40 to 50 percent, depending on the specific car model and the location of the dealership.
Notably, some car models have seen their discounts increase by as much as 75 percent. These discounts are offered through various schemes, with some originating from the original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and others coming directly from the dealers. It’s important to note that these discounts primarily apply to less popular car models.
