In a bid to address the surging residential demand in Gurugram, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has greenlit the development of 11 new residential sectors in the city. This move comes as part of a larger initiative to cater to the increasing need for housing across the state. The Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP), the state’s urban planning agency, has been tasked with spearheading this development and has identified over 1,800 acres of land for the project.
According to senior officials, the proposed residential sectors will not only be confined to Gurugram’s city limits but will also extend to areas such as Sohna, Farrukhnagar, and Pataudi. A comprehensive plan has been put forth, aiming to accommodate the escalating demand for housing in various parts of the district.
