Rep. Teodoro calls sexual assault raps ‘malicious, politically driven'

Marikina City 1st District Representative Marcelino “Marcy” R. Teodoro has been charged before the Department of Justice (DOJ) for allegedly sexually assaulting two policewomen who previously served as his close-in security personnel allegations he vehemently denies, calling them “malicious” and “politically motivated.”

The charges include acts of lasciviousness and rape by sexual assault, as defined under Articles 336 and 266-A(2) of the Revised Penal Code.

According to a DOJ statement issued Thursday, Sept. 25, the identities of the complainants have been withheld to protect their privacy and security.

The DOJ said one of the complainants alleged that Teodoro committed acts of lasciviousness.
